Founded by Rich Smith, Skateboard Cafe was named after a scene video that was made in 2008. Following the video, it became a small label for the people involved, starting with just a few tees and boards.

The brand became fully developed by 2012 with the first promo video released alongside their first official drop. Since then, Cafe continues to release consistent graphics with a solid skate team behind them.
