New Balance has reissued their classic Rainier hiking boot, which was worn by alpinist Lou Whittaker on his ascent of Mount Everest. The Rainier is a hiking boot with the weight and comfort of a running shoe and the durability of an all terrain boot to combat the great outdoors. It is made of premium nylon and canvas, has a Vibram sole, a padded collar for achilles support, a leak-resistant bellow tongue, and a fully waterproof Gore-Tex lining.
